A few days ago I wrote in saying that the MySQL 4.0 port was broken, and Kris
Kenway suggested that I updgrade my ports. I CVSupped and ran:

   # portupgrade -rRaO

Then I went ahead and tried to build MySQL 4.0 again:

   20041107  ~  17:26:03  ~  /usr/ports/databases/mysql40-server
   22 jsn at localhost # make all install clean
   <...snip.../>
   ===> Compressing manual pages for mysql-client-4.0.22
   ===>   Running ldconfig
   /sbin/ldconfig -m /usr/local/lib/mysql
   ldconfig: /usr/local/lib/mysql: ignoring group-writable directory
   ===>   Registering installation for mysql-client-4.0.22
   ===> Returning to build of mysql-server-4.0.22
   Error: shared library "mysqlclient.12" does not exist
   *** Error code 1

   Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql40-server.

I've tried mysql41-server as well - gives me a slightly different error:

   Error: shared library "mysqlclient.14" does not exist
   *** Error code 1

   Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql41-server.

Any suggestions?
