It'd be better if you include tarball of your port' dir instead of just
Makefile.

Probably, it would be more correct to use 

USE_GNOME=      gtk12

than 

BUILD_DEPENDS=   gtk--:${PORTSDIR}/x11-toolkits/gtk--
