FreeBSD Port: linux-netscape-communicator-4.8

OS: freebsd 4.9

I recently installed 4.9 and, when attempting
to install the "linux-netscape-communicator-4.8",
I receieve the following message when I invoked
netscape:

    ELF interpreter  /compat/svr4/lib/ld-linux.so.2 not found
    abort

A bit of snooping about showed that ld-linux.so.2
is located in:

     /compat/linux/lib.

    When are the error(s) likely to be corrected
 so that netscape can be installed and used?
