Put source on FBSD ftp?

Hi there!

I'm currently working on a new port. However there hasn't been an official release yet. The only
way to get the sources is through cvs. Is it possible to put an archive of a cvs snapshot on your
ftp? I tried rewriting the fetch target to use cvs, but I can't seem to get around the extract
target.

So, can I put the distfile on your ftp? It's ~ 1MB. Or is there some other common way to deal with
this problem?
