grip-3.1.2 still broken

Howdy list,

At first I thought I had some busted dependencies,
but a quick look in the archives indicates that
grip 3.1.2 has been broken since at least the beginning
of Oct 2003 for FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE.

Any ideas? Has the port maintainer looked into this
yet?

I'd be happy to provide any needed info/debugging.
Just tell me what to do.
