problem with new /usr/ports/archivers/rpm checkin

understood.  so you think that the difference between 4.6.2 and 4.6 would
account for this?

i am confused as i thought that the ports were able to negotiate different
versions of FreeBSD.

do you suggest that users not cvsup their ports collection if they don't have the most current release?
