Hi,

Hope I'm sending this to the right person, this e-mail address was given as
the maintainer.

I updated my *entire* ports collection and installed the unixODBC port,
everything seemed to go well (documentation was even installed), except that
when I tried to bring up the ODBCConfig GUI nothing happened, i.e. it wasn't
installed, so I changed to the dir:

/usr/ports/databases/unixODBC/work/unixODBC-2.2.6/gODBCConfig

did a make install and got this

checking whether ln -s works... yes
loading cache /dev/null within ltconfig
ltconfig: you must specify a host type if you use `--no-verify'
Try `ltconfig --help' for more information.
configure: error: libtool configure failed

This I was able to fix by doing the following:

./configure --target=i386-unknown-freebsdelf5.0

Maybe the autogen.sh needs fixing?

uname -a tells me this about my system:

FreeBSD freebsd 5.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE #0: Mon May 5 20:27:00 CEST
2003 eddie at freebsd:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/EDDIE i386

Just thought I'd let you know ; )

Regards,

Eddie
