Hi;
I'm watching the recent spice failures on bento and it's rather interesting:
spice fails due to a gcc bug:
_______
/tmp/a/ports/cad/spice/work/src/lib/dev/bjt/bjtload.c: In function `BJTload':
/tmp/a/ports/cad/spice/work/src/lib/dev/bjt/bjtload.c:755: internal compiler
error: in final_scan_insn, at final.c:2799
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions.
*** Error code 1 (continuing)
________
ngspice-rework, which of course is derived from the same code, fails on the
same file, but gcc doesn't explain anything because it's output is redirected
to /dev/null (this was a work around for a bug long ago fixed in gcc).
Someone SHOULD file a bug report ..it really looks like a new gcc bug.
cheers,
Pedro.
