Attic is a deduplicating backup program written in Python:
https://attic-backup.org/

Note building with poudriere requires the default Python version to be 3.2+ -
otherwise it'll build py27-msgpack and then be unable to satisfy the
py3x-msgpack dependency. There doesn't seem to be a workaround atm.

10 tests fail due to the use of mknod in a jail.
