Technically we can't do that (change maintainer) without explicit MAINTAINER=
approval. 

Note: There is no explicitly supported notion of a "Co-Maintainer" except for
those ports under group or team maintainerships (via email alias or mailing
list addresses, which use the MAINTAINER line so it's not an issue.

In this case however, I'm happy to consider *this* change as maintainer
submitted and approved given what is annotated in the port.
