Thank you for the patch.

I believe pkg-install and pkg-deinstall are superfluous here -- replacing all
the manual mkfont{dir,scale} handling with the @fontsdir keyword as described
in
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/plist-keywords.html
should allow you to trim even more fat from the port.
