 Additionally, early versions of this port did use Github for fetching.
 
 See this, for example:

 The contents in Github tarballs are slightly different, so I switched 
 away from it around port version 1.1, which is also when the other 
 mirrors became available.
 
 Once again, the fix has already been submitted in ports/185611.
