 Please close, delete, destroy, shread, and otherwise launch into the outer
 Oort cloud this bug report.
 
 Further investigation reveals that the problem reported was actually caused
 by good old-fashioned pilot error.
 
 If possible, please airbrush this PR out of the pages of history in order
 to minimize further embarassment to the original submitter (i.e. me).
