OK, I'm not sure how to fix this.  I think this is because xz support in tar 
wasn't added to the base's tar until the 8.x line, correct?  It's a bit of a 
mess for this port now because of the mixed file types for the distfiles.  Any 
help on trying to correct this would be appreciated.
