FreeBSD pflog.net 9.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 9.1-PRERELEASE #2 r242585: Sun Nov  4 14:10:18 PST 2012     root at pflog.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/PFLOG  amd64

When trying to build the editors/vim or vim-lite ports, the build fails due to a missing -lintl, which appears to be the result of autoconf and friends.

I snipped the end of the output, as it's just more of the same - errors about undefined references to `libintl_gettext'. Here's the first few errors:

link.sh: $LINK_AS_NEEDED set to 'yes': invoking linker directly.

I noticed that in the build output for a friend's 9.0-RELEASE box, during configure it prints:

checking for NLS... gettext() works with -lintl

While mine prints:

checking for NLS... gettext() works

This is the same issue that was reported in this PR:

Which appears to have been closed due to lack of response from the submitter to provide details/info to reproduce.
Try to build editors/vim on 9.1-PRERELEASE
None I'm aware of.
