In light of the "Adopt and orphaned port project", the attached patch updates gpsbabel to 1.4.4 and sets me as the maintainer.

The official gpsbabel file download is annoying at best. Because of this I've hosted a copy of the 1.4.4 source file myself. In case this turns out to be particularly taxing, or if people feel this poses a privacy and/or security issue, I would suggest hosting a copy on the FreeBSD systems as well.
