I'm sorry for sail in, but removing php52 is the same if we'd remove 
ruby 1.8 right now. IMHO, php is a crap, but MANY people still use it in 
production environment, so i believe it should stay. Moreover, we have a 
maintainer for this port and he is supporting it with security patches, 
so it should be fine for users who still not moved to 5.3 and want to 
use 5.2 for their own risk.
