It's a fresh-installed machine, configured to run distccd.

I added distccd_enable="YES" to /etc/rc.conf

On next boot startup fails due to libpopt.0.so dependency.
"ldconfig" has not been started at this point!

Modify the startup-script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/

Add ldconfig to "# REQUIRE"-line

# REQUIRE: NETWORKING ldconfig
