No, I'm not the author of that patch, but I just customized the patch to su=
port. Anyways, the patch is not difficult to maintain, so I can maintain it=

I'm not an extensive user of dmenu, but I can look at it. At the moment, I'=
bit busy but I can reply to you with an updated patch and with any
explanations you seek, in a week or 10 days.
