I installed gdm-2.24.1_6 from ports.and i noticed the output of gdm install.so i add gdm_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf and reboot the system,but it does not work at all.
My laptop is ThankPad T61.xorg-server was built with hal, and startx works without any config.
