System: FreeBSD chessie.everett.org 7.2-STABLE FreeBSD 7.2-STABLE #16: Tue Jun 2 04:57:41 UTC 2009 root at tiki.everett.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
If dovecot and dovecot-antispam are installed and if dovecot
is upgraded to a new version, tools like portmaster do not know
that dovecot-antispam must be re-installed.
If dovecot is upgraded and dovecot-antispam is not, dovecot will
fail to run because the code will cause an abort because of the
mismatch between the two packages.
Install a slightly older dovecot and dovecot-antispam.
run portmaster -a, and notice that dovecot has been upgraded but
dovecot-antispam has not.
restart dovecot, give it a go, and watch it fail because
dovecot-antispam was compiled against an earlier version of dovecot.
