>Description:
The port net/skype crashes with "Abort trap (core dumped)" if the x11-fonts/font-bh-ttf port is not installed, there's nothing more to it, really.
I suspect this wasn't noticed because x11-fonts/font-bh-ttf port is usually installed as a dependency for other ports already in a typical configuration.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install skype on a remote machine, with its dependencies, set the DISPLAY environment variable so that it uses your local display/server and start skype. I used telnet, but I suppose a ssh connection with X11Forwarding would do it too.
Of course, font-bh-ttf must not be installed for the problem to repeat.
>Fix:
Install the port x11-fonts/font-bh-ttf. The minimum list of installed ports seems to be:

expat-2.0.1
font-bh-ttf-1.0.0
fontconfig-2.6.0,1
freetype2-2.3.7
libfontenc-1.0.4
linux-alsa-lib-1.0.10.3
linux-expat-1.95.8
linux-fontconfig-2.2.3_7
linux-libsigc-2.0.17
linux-xorg-libs-6.8.2_5
linux_base-fc6-6_5
linux_dri-7.0
mkfontdir-1.0.4
mkfontscale-1.0.6
pkg-config-0.23_1
skype-2.0.0.72,1
xproto-7.0.14

Only skype and font-bh-ttf are leaves actually.
