>Description:
	For the last several months, thunderbird has been displaying a
	large error in the bottom of the main window, where the status
	information normally goes. This error seems to indicate some
	sort of problem with the startup.

	I cannto cut and paste because the system will not allow me to
	select the text in the small window. The text is in red
	indicating that it is an error:

    <menu id="offlineMenuItem" insertafter="trashMenuSeparator" label="&offlineMenu.label;" accesskey="&offlineMenu.accesskey;">
....^

	It does not seem to cause any problems, it just annoys me by
	taking up screen space.

	My version of thunderbird is:

	version 2.0.0.19 (20090124)
