FreeBSD elegba.eshu.net 7.1-STABLE FreeBSD 7.1-STABLE #1: Tue Feb 24 23:27:34 PST 2009 root@:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ESHU i386
>Description:
On a system tracking RELENG_7, upgraded via build world, build kernel, install world, just 36 hours ago, with the privoxy-3.0.11 port fetched with portsnap and built with portupgrade this AM, invoking /usr/local/etc/rc.d/privoxy forcestart, fails when initgroups() is invoked:
[root at elegba ~]# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/privoxy forcestart
Starting privoxy.
Feb 26 10:37:59.340 28301100 Info: Privoxy version 3.0.11
Feb 26 10:37:59.341 28301100 Info: Program name: /usr/local/sbin/privoxy
Feb 26 10:37:59.357 28301100 Fatal error: initgroups() failed: Operation not permitted
The only place I could find initgroups() was in jcc.c, line 3902, but I didn't dig around any further.
>How-To-Repeat:
invoke /usr/local/etc/rc.d/privoxy forcestart or reboot to indirectly invoke /usr/local/etc/rc.d/privoxy start
