System: FreeBSD uzyod 7.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Jan 1 14:37:25 UTC 2009 root at logan.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386
>Description:
If one is not intimately familiar with the various abbreviations for
the audio codecs, drivers and visualization plugins then it is difficult
to decide which options are necessary.
>How-To-Repeat:
I usually try to keep the installation as small as possible on my older
model computer. For example, since the 'neon' plugin was marked as
experimental I used to un-check it, not realizing that it was required
for http transport.
>Fix:
I have attached a patch to the Makefile for your consideration, which
attempts to offer better option descriptions.
