Ghostscript8 won't make -- epag-3.09/ert: No such file or directory

I have been trying to install from ports various programs, such as dvdrip, hpijs, cups, and ghostscript8.  All have failed at the below message while making ghostscript8:

install  -s -o root -g wheel -m 555 /usr/ports/print/ghostscript8/work/ghostscript-8.62/epag-3.09/ert /usr/local/bin
install: /usr/ports/print/ghostscript8/work/ghostscript-8.62/epag-3.09/ert: No such file or directory
*** Error code 71

Stop in /usr/ports/print/ghostscript8.
*** Error code 1

This is my first post, so I hope I'm following the proper protocol.  Newb.
