 There is no "_REQUIRE" variable anywhere in the ports make  
 infrastructure.  I'm not sure what problem you are solving.  It seems  
 to me that if you want to be using dovecot SASL auth, then you should  
 have it turned on.  you have to enable that in rc.conf.
 
 I don't see how to reproduce this error nor do I see any error on the  
 postfix port -- it seems that the dovecot authentication service is  
 not running.
