 thanks for your effort! Please note that updates to existing ports are
 preferred as patches in unified diff format as produced by 'diff -u', not
 as shar archives like the one you sent. Patches in unified diff format are
 preferred because with them it's easier to see what changed, which speeds
 up the whole updating process.
 
 Could you re-send your update as a patch in a followup to this PR?
