The patch committed as part of PR106268 essentially does nothing but break the preinstall environmental tests as they relate to the availability of diff3.

This requires the user to manually add an additional config line to MW's LocalSettings.php in order to restore intended functionality.

Install Mediawiki, then visit the web-based installer page (config/index.php).
