The ChangeLog advised to use ginstall on FreeBSD, what I did (blindly :p)...
BTW, our install program cannot be used 'as is' because the Makefile uses a -D
option that creates the directory structure before copying the file, which is not
supported on our version. But this is trivial to fix. I have modified the port
to use install instead of ginstall (using the -d switch). Find a clean shar
attached to this mail.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I could have thought about that before !
