>Description:
I built mail/mutt-devel-1.5.18 with the sidebar patch, which I've been using for a long time. After updating the port and running mutt, all my sidebar folders had 'Null' as a name. Googling led me to a discussion of the same bug on the OpenBSD mailing list[1] as well as a Debian bug[2]. It appears that a patch to the sidebar patch by a Debian developer was not applied correctly.

I contacted Terry Chan, the maintainer of the sidebar patch, and he told me:

"Now that this bug of displaying <NULL> has been brought to my attention,
I've incorporated the fix (I hope) correctly now from Micha Lenk. I've
updated the mutt sidebar patch for 1.5.18. You may fetch the latest patch
from:

http://www.lunar-linux.org/index.php?page=mutt-sidebar

The direct link to the relevant patch is:

http://lunar-linux.org/~tchan/mutt/patch-1.5.18.sidebar.20080611.txt"

Not sure why nobody else told him about it. Anyway, I have not yet had the chance to test the new sidebar patch, but I wanted to report the problem and the fix as soon as possible.
