I have the ZSH port compiled with the WITH_ZSH_MAILDIR option set and I have also set the no_mail_warning option in my .zshrc. Despite the no_mail_warning option, ZSH does stat() each file in my Maildir folder which delays return to prompt for several seconds since the Maildir is quite huge.
