>Description:
I have a complete install of x11/xorg (7.3). The computer is a Dell Inspiron 5100 (2.8 GHz) with 512 M RAM and an ATI Radeon display card. Xorg 7.2's radeon driver worked without a hitch. Not so with 7.3. I have the following video artifacts:
1) a 10-15 pixel wide vertical line running right through the middle of the GNOME icon on the upper panel to the bottom of the screen.
2) a "shimmering" effect particularly evident arount all fonts (pixels appear to "move" clockwise around all fonts).
3) images have reduced sharpness.

n/a
>Fix:
Workaround is to switch to VESA driver for now (which works perfectly if slightly slower).
