I have tried to build Perl 5.8.8 on a freshly installed FreeBSD 7.0,
and I get an error when linking libperl.so. I'm not 100% sure why,
but if -shared is manually added to the Makefile inside the work
dir, it'll get farther (but then it'll complain at x2p saying it
can't make <command-line>). I couldn't find a fix to get it to
any farther.
