Since the release of Ruby 1.8.6 various issues have been fixed in the 1.8.6 tree. Notably is a fix for a problem which makes the standard unit test tool for Ruby return 0 as error code no matter if tests pass or fail. If possible please update the port of Ruby 1.8.6 to the newest patch level.
