>Description:
The VICE emulator won't show a display upon start up. I have noticed that this is the case after an update to Xorg 7.2, and I feel certain that the update has something to do with this malfunction. I'm not sure if this is a VICE bug or a ports issue due to the updated Xorg.
>How-To-Repeat:
1. Install VICE on a machine with Xorg 6.9
2. Update to Xorg 7.2
3. Notice how the emulator starts, but now the emulator display is all black.

or

4. Simply compile the application under Xorg 7.2
>Fix:
I did notice that enabling hardware scaling in the emulator causes the display to become visible.
