>Description:
rrdtool (rrdtool-1.2.23) does not appear to be updating values in rrd files when running on amd64 platform.

I am trying to migrate my nagios/nagiosgraph installation from an i386 machine to an amd64 machine. Graphs on the new installation are not updating. This is because the rrd update tool is not updating the values in migrated (rrd dump/restore)or even newly created rrd files.

>How-To-Repeat:
I can dump and restore a rrd file from an i386 platform to the amd64 platform OK.
RRD dump of the migrated files shows the values have come across OK and graphs display the old values OK.
However new values (eg. manually running rrd update and runing a dump to check) wont add to the file even though updatev indicates the update worked OK. Have the same problem with newly created rrd files on the amd64 platform.

I have tried the amd64 package from the freebsd site as well as building the port.
