 I just built the current AFNI port on a fresh 6.2 system with the latest 
 ports (as of 18-Jul-2007), and it installed and deinstalled cleanly.  
 Are you certain that all of your installed ports on trinity are 
 up-to-date?  Maybe if you send me the complete output of your build, I 
 can help figure out what's going on.
