>Description:
On the server vim63 is installed through the ports from /usr/ports/editors/vim6
I wanted to upgrade to vim70 and installed it from /usr/ports/editors/vim

I didn't deinstalled vim6 first, because i thought it will check that both are installed, or install it under another name (like vim7)

After installing the vim7-package overwrites the old binary in /usr/local/bin/vim from vim6-package.

Did i missed something or must i care myself that none equal ports overwrite them selfs?

thank you for your time

>How-To-Repeat:
install editors/vim6
then
install editors/vim
>Fix:
my suggestion would be:

1) check dependecis for all editors/vim* (like doing by other ports)

2) install the binarys with an suffix (like vim7) and make an symlink like vim -> vim7
