I need to use sendmail without MILTER.
However, Makefile is not sufficient to compile sendmail without MILTER.

Run make and use the SENDMAIL_WITHOUT_MILTER option.

At the end of the "do-configure:" section of the Makefile you need to add the following lines.


.if defined(SENDMAIL_WITHOUT_MILTER)
        ${ECHO_CMD} \
        'APPENDDEF(`conf_sendmail_ENVDEF'\'', `-DMILTER=0'\'')' \
                >> ${WCONF}/site.config.m4
.endif

I guess the port maintainer would understand exactly why the above lines are needed.
