>Description:
Standard install with all sources and X11 made an empty
/etc/make.conf file. While installing ports after initial install,
noticed X11 related ports where re-installing copies of software that
already existed in /usr/X11R6/lib. These ports we making the copies
under /usr/local/lib.
Stoped the duplication by added to /etc/make.conf:
X11BASE=/usr/X11R6
When I went to build /usr/ports/graphics/gd, got the error
"/usr/X11R6 exists, but it is not a symlink...".
Fixed that problem by adding to /etc/make.conf:
X_WINDOW_SYSTEM=xfree86-4
