 this looks to me as though ruby-bdb used interfaces that do not exist in
 db43 but were added in db44.
 
 Please reassign this bug to databases/ruby-bdb and ask its maintainer for
 assistance. If ruby-bdb actually requires these interfaces, adjust ruby-bdb
 so it depends on db44 or newer. Thanks.
