>Description:
When I use vim in linux , if the LANG setting establishes correctly, vim then
may demonstrate the correct translated environment like Traditional Chinese.
Now has a question I use ports system to install vim, calculated my
LANG establishes, the correct language or is unable to demonstrate.
Finally I discovered is when the installment has lacked the 'po' file.
>How-To-Repeat:
Always exists...
>Fix:
Provides in this, I solve this question stupid method.
# cd /usr/ports/editors/vim ; make
when process preparation starts configure, I press down ctrl + z to suspend the process.
# cd /usr/ports/editors/vim/work
In this take 7.0 as the example.
# fetch ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/extra/vim-7.0-lang.tar.gz
# tar -zxf vim-7.0-lang.tar.gz
# cd ../ ; make install clean
After installs ,I start to use vim also discover this stupid method
has solved the problem.
