FreeBSD water.chapman.edu 6.1-RELEASE-p10 FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE-p10 #0: Wed Oct 18 00:46:34 PDT 2006     root at water.chapman.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  i386
After nss_ldap is installed, other ports fail to build, including openssh, openssh-portable, and pam_ldap.

water# cd /usr/ports/security
water# cd pam_ldap
water# make
===> Vulnerability check disabled, database not found
===>  Extracting for pam_ldap-1.8.2
=> MD5 Checksum OK for pam_ldap-182.tar.gz.
=> SHA256 Checksum OK for pam_ldap-182.tar.gz.
Assertion failed: (cfg->ldc_uris[__session.ls_current_uri] != NULL), function do_init, file ldap-nss.c, line 1312.
Abort trap (core dumped)
*** Error code 1

Unsure. This is a clean install of FreeBSD, but my first time trying to get it to speak LDAP.
