>Description:
There is a big problem with updating port tree with developer version. As we know for updating we need review all the tree for the new versions. What about making possible to write script for cvs(and other syncing software) source downloading with selection what branch user want to get from repository.
make cvs-install
I know that there are many problem with patches for every user`s system and version, but as for me and many my friend use ports as link database for getting last version from developer site or repository(not with a make install in ports 8(((( ). Many software from ports work nice and it is possible to run it without patch, but it is a big problem with syncing 8(((.
And with inserting cvs download it is possible to propose patches for developers via cvs(svn) subsystem for a new version via FreeBSD ports make subsystem.
>How-To-Repeat:
              cd /usr/ports
make install
>Fix:
              cvs(svn) integration
