Compilation of chinese/scim-pinyin fails with the following error message: 

libtool: link: cannot find the library `'

cd /usr/ports/chinese/scim-pinyin/ && portinstall -rR

Resolution of the problem is the same as explained in http://www.pro-linux.de/news/2005/8579.html
