>Description:
Using the current xorg metaport including:
xorg-server-6.9.0_4 X.Org X server and related programs
I had no success using X with nv(4) -> it dumped core immediatly.
The graphics card in question is a (brandname):
ASUS EN7600GS TOP SILENT
Thus I came across:
http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/repositories/xorg7/SUSE_Factory/src/xorg-x11-driver-video-7.1-124.13.src.rpm
and 'backported' the files
nv_driver.c
nv_hw.c
into the my 6.9.0_4 wrksrc.
>How-To-Repeat:
Get yourself the aforementioned card and try to run the aforementioned
Xorg port using the nv driver.
>Fix:

(works at least fine for me)
