 It seems that this is not reproduceable with the current versions of the
 software:
 
 f6:/usr/ports/databases/gnats4# make install
 
 f6:~# /usr/local/libexec/gnats/gnatsd
 417 GNATS initialization of database failed: The directory /var/db/gnats/gnatsdb does not exist for
 database default
 
 f6:~# /usr/local/libexec/gnats/mkdb default
 Copying default files from /usr/local/etc/gnats/defaults
 
 f6:~# /usr/local/libexec/gnats/gnatsd
 200 f6.bg.datamax GNATS server 4.1.0 ready.
 ^C
 
 f6:~# uname -a
