>Environment:

FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE (ports collection RELEASE_6_0_0)

>Description:

In the /usr/ports/LEGAL file, the entry for "vtk" is missing
a proper description (third column is empty):

VTK-* math/vtk

According to their website at http://www.vtk.org the software
is basically under a BSD-style license. The library contains
a few classes which use patented algorithms, but that does
not affect redistribution of the software. Therefore I would
like to suggest that the above entry be removed from the file
/usr/ports/LEGAL.

Furthermore, the following entries don't exist anymore in the
ports collection. I guess they're old ports that have been
removed, but it has been forgotten to remove their entries in
the LEGAL file. I suggest to remove them, too:

/audio/linux-realplayer
/benchmarks/himeno
/devel/linux_understand_ada
/devel/linux_understand_c
/devel/linux_understand_java
/emulators/vmware_xf4mod
/games/bnetd
/japanese/acroread7
/java/j2sdkee
/java/kaffe-devel
/java/orion
/misc/nwrite
/net/DarwinStreaming
/net/djbdns
/security/md5crk
/www/Mosaic
/z11-themes/gnome-icons-cool-gorilla

Finally, there are two lines in the LEGAL file consisting
only of the word "[RESTRICTED]" (with square brackets).
They don't seem to belong to anything. They should be
removed, too.

>How-To-Repeat:

n/a

>Fix:

Remove the obsolete lines from the /usr/ports/LEGAL file.
See above.
