>Description:
I've been using kphone on many different machines and soundcards, desktops aswell as laptops. All of those that own a soundcard supported by the snd_ich module come up with the same problem.

My opposite is able to hear me allright, but nothing he says reaches my ear. The VoIP connection is just fine and so is the soundcard setup.

Compiled on FreeBSD kphone seems to have issues handing over the incoming sound to the soundcard.

Running Linux on the same hardware this is working and this is why I am opening a PR instead of talking to the kphone developers.

Replacing the soundcard with anyhthing else than snd_ich immediately resolves the problem.

The problem exists for all versions I've tried with kphone (4.0.3 to 4.2).

Sadly I don't know how to debug this any further, but I'd glady help you out fixing this. Just tell me what I should do, provide and I see what I can do about it, don't heitate to ask.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install Soundcard supported by the snd_ich chipset, start/compile kphone.
